I absolutely loved the texture, the thin apple slices almost melt together in the oven, creating something soft, delicate, and surprisingly satisfying. Despite its elegant appearance, it\u2019s very easy to prepare, and the batter comes together in just a few minutes. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs <\/strong>with sugar <\/strong>and vanilla <\/strong>for about 5 minutes, until the mixture is light and foamy. Stir in the melted butter <\/strong>and milk <\/strong>until smooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, sift in the flour,<\/strong> baking powder, <\/strong>and salt<\/strong>, gently folding to combine. Add the apple slices to the batter and fold carefully to coat them evenly. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle a little cinnamon <\/strong>on top and scatter lightly toasted almond flakes<\/strong> over the cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
