If it feels too dry add 1-2 tablespoons of milk or water. I have used 2% Greek Yogurt. If you use 10% ore more you may need to add a bit of water or milk.

I used a 2% yogurt. You can add a tablespoon or two of milk or water next time to loosen it up slightly. As for the seeds, try brushing the top with a little beaten egg before sprinkling them on; it helps them stick better while baking. I’m happy you enjoyed it, it really is a hearty loaf!]]> In reply to Nancy.

I’m so glad you tried the recipe, a salmon sandwich with it sounds wonderful! 💛 If the dough felt a bit dry, that’s likely from the thicker 18% yogurt. I used a 2% yogurt. My dough wasn’t as moist as you mentioned, I did use a hand mixer. I used 18% Greek yogurt . I’m enjoyed a salmon sandwich with it right now. Oh my it is definitely filling. My seeds didn’t stay on the bread well. Any suggestions.

Did you use the hand mixer to make the dough? It helps you getting a smooth dough.

Yes, you can use a combination of flours, I would keep about 50% all-purpose flour.

Can almond flour be used instead of AP flour or combination?

To make it low carb, you could swap some of the all-purpose flour with almond flour (or a mix of almond and coconut flour). Just keep in mind it will be a bit denser, so adding an extra egg or two helps with texture. Let me know if you try it out.
